ABOUT
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:
Understanding Emergency Power Installation Configurations
- Sub Distribution Board Wiring: Learn the essentials of wiring for inverters and generators.
- Circuit Protection Selection & Installation: Discover the right choices for wires, circuit breakers, earth leakage units, and surge protection.
- Essential vs. Non-Essential Circuits: Understand how to split circuits, including the proper handling of neutral bars.
- Change-Over Switch Connection:
- Master the process of connecting change-over switches where standby power feeds into a section of the main distribution board. Sub-Distribution Board Integration: where standby power feeds in after the main distribution board (point of supply) into a sub-distribution board.
- Earth-Neutral Bonding: Learn the critical aspects of bonding via a contactor.
- PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PRACTICAL TRAINING WORKSHOP WITH THEORY - PPE IS ESSENTIAL
- TOOLS WILL BE PROVIDED
- DURATION 6 HOURS
- REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED
THIS IS NOT A QUALIFICATION AND YOU WILL ONLY RECEIVE AN IN - HOUSE CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE STIPULATING WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNT.
